A wearable belt featuring twelve vibrating pager motors evenly distributed around the circumference. A digital compass identifies magnetic north and activates the corresponding motor for haptic directional sense. Connects via serial to iPhone for bearing guidance to arbitrary destinations with wireless XBee RF control. An experiment exploring whether directional sense derives from absolute biological magnetic sense or integrated relative sensory cues.
