A storytelling interactive cube
I collaborated on the software and hardware with our team at Two Bit Circus, especially Rina Shkrabova, Scotty Hoag, and Andy Baker.
D.E.J.A. was a complex engineering project; we crammed various interactions into a 5” cube. Through a voice interface, this cube would tell a story and players would have to interact with the various faces to solve puzzles and proceed.
The aspect of this project that most stands out to me was the E-Ink display. It was my first time developing for an E-Ink display, and the toolchain I wrote for turning content into usable assets was complex and beautiful.
